Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Wiki Workbench is made by Kingpin Apps, a trade name of Adderley Group Ltd., Cayman Islands ("we"). This policy covers the Wiki Workbench app for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, and this website.
What the app collects
Nothing. Wiki Workbench has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your notes or anything about you to us.
Your notes
Your notes are files in a folder you choose. Wiki Workbench reads and writes them there and keeps a search index of them on your device, outside that folder. If the folder is in iCloud Drive, a git repository or another sync service, that service handles the files under its own terms.
When the app connects to other servers
We run none of these servers and receive nothing from them.
- Git. When you pull or push a vault that is a git repository, the app connects to that repository's server (for example github.com) using an access token you entered. The token is kept in your device's Keychain.
- Web images in your notes. When a note you are reading shows an image from a web address, the app downloads it from that address. That website sees the request, including your IP address, as it would if you opened the image in a browser. Images stored in your vault never leave your device.
- Links. A web link in a note opens in your browser, and only when you click it. Web pages stored in your vault are shown with all web loading blocked.
AI agents, on the Mac
If you turn on Settings › Agents, the app accepts connections from programs on the same Mac only, and each one must present a private token. It is off until you turn it on.
An agent you connect, such as Claude Code, can read and change the notes in your vault. What the agent does with what it reads, including sending it to its own AI service, is governed by that agent's provider and its terms, not by us.
Purchases
The free trial and the unlock are in-app purchases handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details; Apple tells the app only whether the trial or the unlock was bought. If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use them only to answer you, and we delete them when you ask.
This website
This website uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the technical details every website visit sends, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site.
Your rights
The app gives us no data about you, so there is usually nothing for us to show or delete. For emails you have sent us, you can ask us to show, correct or delete them. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, or to the Cayman Islands Ombudsman.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: info@kingpinapps.com.
